The Food and Wine Festival is no doubt one of my favorite times of the year to visit Epcot. While the festival does look a little bit different this year, there are still so many amazing options to try as you make your way around the world. Here are my top 5 favorites so far from the Taste of Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, plus some other fan favorites you may want to try!
#5 Crispy Citrus Chicken- Citrus Blossom ($5.75)
My options at the festival are a bit limited in that I don’t really eat red meat or seafood. However, I am always looking for a good chicken option! The crispy chicken at the Citrus Blossom booth is served with an orange aioli on top. The orange flavor adds a fun summer splash to the dish.
Now again, I don’t eat seafood myself, but my friends LOVED the lobster tail option ($8.25) so much that I feel it deserves a mention. We even went back for it again as we made our second way around! Also, if you have seen photos of those super cute Orange Bird cups and have been wanting to get your hands on one, this is the booth where you can find them!
#4 Canadian Cheddar and Bacon Soup- Canada ($5.25)
This is one of the rare occasions that I will go ahead and eat red meat. The meat is chopped up into small enough pieces that I do still order this regularly. The thickness and warmth of the soup has me dreaming of fall nights when it starts to get a little cooler around here (A girl can dream, right?). And the best part of this dish is that it’s served with a pretzel roll for dipping!
Also served here is the fan favorite Le Cellier Wild Mushroom Beef Filet Mignon with truffle butter sauce ($8.25).
#3 Pão de Queijo- Brazil ($4.50)
Brazilian cheese bread! This is usually a very popular option at the festival. They are just so light and doughy that it is a perfect little snack. I find that I almost always have room for it as I make my way by this booth.
#2 Gourmet Mac and Cheese- Mac & Cheese Hosted by Boursin® Cheese ($4.50)
Fun fact about me: I am OBSESSED with mac and cheese. Whether it’s homemade, Kraft, or even just out of the microwave, I am all about it. I do love a nice, creamy mac and cheese which is why I loved this one! Generally I stay away from breadcrumbs because I think it takes away from the creaminess of the cheese, but the herbed panko here was really a great touch. I can’t wait to go back and get this one again!
There are a ton of other mac & cheese options here including lobster, buffalo chicken, and one with Italian sausage and peppers.
#1 Teriyaki Chicken Bun- Japan ($6.00)
I absolutely love this little bun. It was one of my favorites at last year’s festival and earns the number one spot for me this year! First off, look how cute it is! But second, it just has such a good flavor and really packs a lot of food in there! I can usually count on this to fill me up a bit when I get hungry.
There you have it! Those are my top 5 meal options at the Taste of Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. What is your must have when you visit?
