The Christmas Tree Trail is always a yearly favorite at Disney Springs. In order to keep up with social distancing procedures, the event looks a little different this year. Instead of going away entirely, there is a new way to enjoy the trees this year: The Christmas Tree Stroll.
Instead of the trees being all in one line, they are now scattered throughout Disney Springs. Similar to the seasonal scavenger hunts at Epcot, there is a map to help you find all of them. Maps can be picked up at most Disney merchandise locations around Springs.
As you find each tree, you place the correct sticker on the map. My recommendation is to start at the top of one side of the map and work your way to the other. I tried to start in the middle and ended up having to change some multiple times because I placed the stickers in the wrong spots at first!
After you complete your map, there are four redemption locations to claim your reward. The cast member will check for completion, and then give you your button!
Overall I think this was a super cute way to incorporate the trees from the trail, but still keep it safe for 2020. Some of the trees you’ll find include fan favorites The Lion King, Haunted Mansion, Frozen, Toy Story, and more! I always love looking at the details put onto each tree.
I recommend going right before sunset so you can see some of the trees in the daytime, but also watch as they are lit up at night! I wish a few more had been put out so we could see all the beautiful decorations, but the Christmas Tree Stroll really is a fun way to spend a few hours at Disney Springs this holiday season! When you are done, go enjoy a night at Springs using all the dining and shopping coupons on the map!
