I grew up in Connecticut and got a marketing degree from UConn. However, my years in college made me realize that a typical office job was not for me.
I was lucky enough to spend three semesters abroad in Florence, Edinburgh, and Barcelona. I absolutely fell in love with travel and exploring new places. Even after my first program I knew that my future was in the tourism industry.
Then I had a bit of an unexpected life change when I decided to enroll in the Disney College Program. The College Program was always a dream of mine, but I didn’t know it would completely change my life.
Working in the parks was so much fun that I packed up my bags and moved down to Florida to work for the mouse full time. I have spent the majority of my time with Disney working in a merchandise role and have been lucky enough to have had home locations of EPCOT, Typhoon Lagoon, Hollywood Studios, and Disney Springs. I have loved each location, and they have all shaped my Disney career journey. Now, I have grown to be a merchandise manager at Magic Kingdom!
I have always enjoyed helping friends and family with travel tips and planning, whether it be somewhere I have visited near home or abroad. Now, I have started this blog to help all of you prepare for your future trips!
